The other day I ran across a story that this fabulous creature in the coiffed wig & amazing sunglasses named – Linda Riss – had died. I honestly had no idea who she was, but became enamored by her glamour & was determined to find out her story; and boy what a story it was! Set in 1950′s New York, Crazy Love is a wacky story of one man’s obsession with Linda. Specifically her husband Burt and the lengths he went to have her, including having acid thrown in her face and blinding her!! It is def Crazy!! On top of the mad twisted love affair, there are great New York accents – the best!! Like cawfee tawk!! It’s brilliant!! And Linda knew how to make the best out of her situation – she bought the most dazzling shades on earth, it’s worth a watch for the sunglasses porn alone!! I remember a drag queen saying once “girl, if you gotta hunchback, you just throw some glitter on your hump, and you work that hunchback!” That’s what Linda Riss did! She oozed glamour right up until her death! RIP Linda!! I rented it on itunes for £2.50. It’s totally worth it!! Click here to watch!! oxo gd
