Hi All! The private view last week was a huge success! Had a nice turnout and the feedback I’ve gotten from friends, strangers, & the people at Ketchum Pleon has been phenomenal!! I’ve never been one for mission statements, BUT if I had to have one, I would say my mission statement was “to bring people color, as we live in a grey, bland world, subjected to mediocrity and sameness, I want to lift people up and take them away from the monotony“. Ha ha! How is that?? Anyhoo, in the meantime, I thought I would put up a catalogue of my work. Since these are higher end pieces, I decided to put them on my Saatchi page (I know! another social netwank! ugh!). So Click the pic!! Anyhoo, if you see anything you fancy, get in touch, rates available!! More soon! oxo gd
PS – My show is up until April 27th, so if your near Spitalfields pop in and take a peek! Ketchum Pleon 31 – 45 Folgate Street

OK Miss Artist/Model/Dancer/Actress/Singer/Musician and all around “if I had to do a mission statement” Bullshitter. (LOL! See what I mean.) Your vision for a brighter life is spot on. Live the life Gurl. Yours Truly, Eddie Valentine@Taste Studios… Art, Beauty, and Design. San Francisco <3
Ok, NOW I see what you mean.. Totally not my style, but unfortch in the arts game you have to have a bullshit statement…xx
I like doing “Artist Statements” and such in the third person as if it were a comedic commentary; “They say Taste Studios SF is THE place to get your style on. I say come for the style, stay for the cocktails. How better to view Mr. Edward Taste Valentine’s maniacal art works and such but in a drunken and slightly topsy turvy manner.” Having brains AND beauty like I, HA! you must diffuse your audience with a bit of self effacing humor. It breaks the ice, so to speak. Well it’s a school night and I’m off to bed. But must say so glad Jason hooked us up. I don’t really chat with that many people unless their as interesting and talented as you my dear. Smooches. xox
Aww! You’re too sweet! I really can’t stand mission statements. To me the art world and the gate keepers of the art world, seem to put more emphasis on the bullshit statement and less on the work. I find it depressing, but hey, if you can’t beat em! Join em! eh? oxoxo
